Remote Access
If you need remote access, please request support from your local support representative.
Once set up, use the following instructions to obtain remote access:
From off campus, obtain a vpn connection to campus using the following web site: http://vpn.emory.edu
For instructions on VPN connections to the Emory campus click here.
Once connected to the VPN use the “Remote Desktop Connection” client which is built into WindowsXP and Windows Vista:
START > Programs > Accessories > Communications > Remote Desktop Connection
If you are running a version of Windows prior to Windows XP, you can download the Remote Desktop Client from Microsoft here.
If you are running a version of Apple Macintosh you can download the Remote Desktop Client from Microsoft here.
User your Windows Password to connect to your Windows based computer. Report any problems to your local support personnel.
